Capturing becoming a mother combined with mother nature is what my maternity photos are all about. Always captured at quiet sunrise, the beginning of the day and the beginning of this beautiful journey you’re about to embark on. The photographs are not only about capturing the beauty of your motherhood experience but also taking time for you during this time to be in nature, feel empowered and sit with the excitement of what is to come.
Mothers are strong, powerful and beautiful and I cannot wait to show you that in your photos. We will hang out for an hour and this adventure can be whatever you want it to be, I recommend locations, outfits and ideas on what works for you and what you want to explore in your photoshoot.

Got some questions?
01.
When should I get my maternity photos done?
28-34 weeks is the ideal time to get your photos taken. Mama is glowing, bump is at its most glorious and it’s all getting super exciting at this point.

Do you only do sunrise sessions?
You have probably noticed I do my outdoorsmaternity sessions at sunrise. Why?
1- It is quieter, everyone is still sleeping and we get the chance to feel a bit free without the public really being too much around.
2- The light! It is at its softest and most gorgeous at sunrise, it’s how I get the colours I get in your beautiful photos.

Do you travel?
Currently I only do my maternity sessions in Dorset.

What do I wear?
Once booked in we will make lots of plans including what you want to wear. I generally recommend earthy colours, whites, beiges, browns etc as they always photograph so well. I have a little guide with outfit inspiration that you can take and make your own!
05.
What will we do if it rains?
It is completely up to you. I am always up for shooting in light rain, if it is torrential I am more than happy to reschedule to try and find a slightly better day, living in England I am very used to photographing in all conditions!
06.
How long will it take to receive our photos ?
You will receive your photos (watermarked) around 3-4 weeks after your photoshoot. You can then select the 8 you would like or can upgrade to the full gallery.

The Moon
45 minute photoshoot just before sunrise. The photographs then go into an online gallery for you to choose your 8 favourites. Watermarks are then removed and they are yours to download as you wish.

45 minute photshoot just before sunrise. The photographs then go into an online gallery for you to download as you wish.

The Stars
1 hour photoshoot just before sunrise. The photographs then go into an online gallery for you to download as you wish. You also receive 2 8×12 prints from my recommended printer and a mini iphone video with clips set to music or your own r from your shoot to share on your social media/to family.
* Full online gallery with options to buy prints and two 8×12 prints included.
* My travel within Dorset
* A 30 second video with some clips from the photoshoot.

Studio Maternity
I also capture maternity within the studio if that is something you would prefer.
These are 45 minute sessions, feel free to bring a couple of outfits to swap into.
